GallerySoft V2 Update Instructions

1. Make a back up of your data if you have not done this already.

2. Make sure that your computer is set up with "Administrator" privileges (especially for those using 2000 or XP).

3. Select the appropriate update (on the left) as determined by your Build No. or LOGIN to download the complete program.

4. When prompted, choose to SAVE the program to disk. Select the SAVE location (otherwise you might not find the file when you are ready to install). We suggest selecting either your Desktop or 'My Documents' as the Save location.

5. Close all programs on your computer. GallerySoft MUST be closed on your computer (and on all computers if you are on a network) before installing the update!

6. Once the download is complete, click on Open Folder (or go to your Windows Explorer) and click on the downloaded file. This file will either be:

• GSUpdateXXXX.exe if you downloaded the Full Update
• GSProgrmXXXX.exe if you downloaded the Partial Update
• GSSetupXXXX.exe if you downloaded the Complete Program
• Note: XXXX is the build number of the program

7. Follow the on-screen instructions to install or update your GallerySoft program.

8. For single computer versions of GallerySoft: Open GallerySoft and look on the upper right of the screen to make sure that the Build No. is XXXX (where XXXX is the current build number).

9. For Multi-computer versions of GallerySoft: Install the program or update EACH COMPUTER BEFORE opening GallerySoft. Open GallerySoft on each computer and look on the upper right of the screen to make sure that the Build No. is XXXX (where XXXX is the current build number) on each computer.
